Fluoplus® MK series
Fluoplus® MK series

Fluoplus® MK film is formed with a special low dielectric fluorinated material, with smooth surface and excellent performance in all aspects of the product. Films can be heat sealed, welded, metallized, laminated with other materials and vacuum formed. It is designed for high-frequency signal transmission components in the fields of aviation, communication, and consumer electronics.

Product Features

Electrical performance

- Compared to other film materials, MK film has outstanding electrical performance

- MK film has very low dielectric constant and dielectric loss, and the performance is particularly outstanding at high frequencies.

- DK at 10GHz: 2.6

- DF at 10GHz: 0.0015

- High dielectric strength, up to 35 kV/mm

Chemical resistance

- MK film has strong chemical inertness and can withstand common strong acid chemicals in applications

- MK film cannot withstand molten alkali metals, fluorine gas, and halogen compounds at specific pressures and temperatures

- MK thin films can block most gases and liquids, and specific barrier data needs to be obtained through corresponding test

Heat resistance performance

- MK film can be used for a long time in an environment between -150 ℃ and 200 ℃

- MK thin film, due to its high-temperature resistance, can meet the requirements of 288 ℃ tin immersion

Mechanical properties

- High impedance impact and tear resistance

- Acceptable mechanical properties at extremely low temperatures

- Compared to other ordinary fluorine materials, MK series materials have higher modulus (about 2000MPa)

- Compared to other engineering materials, the MK series has better bending resistance and is suitable for installation in narrow spaces

Long term weathering resistance

- MK film can withstand long-term outdoor exposure while maintaining its performance unchanged
